Reed's Temple Choir

Reed's Temple Choir is a gospel choir with a history spanning more than four decades. The group was founded over forty years ago by the late Joe B. Reed Sr. and remains associated with Reed’s Temple Church, which relocated from Chicago, Illinois, to Griffith, Indiana, in 1999.

The choir’s music is designed specifically for traditional Sunday morning worship services. Their songs are intended to be used by ministers of music in local church settings, supporting congregational worship with a sound rooted in the African American gospel tradition.

Over the years, the group has performed internationally and produced multiple recorded projects. Among their albums are Keep On Making a Way, Now Is the Time, One Way, and Be Encouraged. Songs in the choir’s catalog include “I Am Blessed,” “I’m Gonna Praise Him,” “He’s Been Good,” and “You’re Looking At a Miracle.” The choir has also received a Stellar Award nomination.
