About Red Letter Society
Red Letter Society is a worship collective based in Central Virginia. Founded in 2016 by friends who graduated from the same Bible school program, the group takes its name from the practice in some Bibles of printing the words of Jesus in red, reflecting their commitment to His teachings. The collective is composed of local worship leaders who serve in full-time ministry at their respective churches.
The band’s formation began with weekly gatherings where members met to sharpen their musical skills, and those sessions soon evolved into songwriting. Their stated mission is to write and resource the global Church with theologically sound and congregationally engaging worship music.
Red Letter Society’s catalog includes songs such as “100x,” “This Life,” “How Glorious,” “Simply,” “Psalm 3 (Save Me),” “Adonai,” and “Psalm 10 (Do You See).” The collective also released the album “Live at Village Church,” capturing the congregational setting that is central to their approach. Their work continues to reflect the group’s roots in local church ministry and their desire to serve the broader Christian community with thoughtful, worshipful music.
