Poet Voices

Poet Voices is a Southern Gospel quartet formed in the early 1990s by songwriter Phil Cross. The group was created as an outlet for Cross’s songwriting and to present Gospel music with lyrical depth. Active for more than three decades, Poet Voices has remained a steady presence in Southern Gospel music. The current lineup includes Phil Cross, Donny Henderson, Loren Harris, Jeff Snyder, and K.C. Armstrong.

The group is known for songs such as “I Am Redeemed” and “Jesus Built a Bridge.” “I Am Redeemed” earned Song of the Year honors, and the group has achieved multiple chart-topping songs throughout its career. Their discography includes albums such as Trust the Truth (1997) and It Won’t Be Long (2024), as well as Grace & Glory, One Holy Lamb, Everybody Needs Jesus, This Changes Everything, and King Jesus.

Poet Voices is signed to the StowTown Records label. With their 2024 album It Won’t Be Long, the group continues to share the Gospel music that has defined their ministry for over thirty years.
