Phindi P Phewa

Phindi P Phewa is a South African gospel recording artist and radio presenter. She also works as an actress and voice-over artist, and serves as a radio presenter for Ukhozi FM. Her music career began as a backing vocalist, a role that saw her support artists including Mthunzi Namba, Thina Zungu, Dumi Mkokstad, and Sfiso Ncwane. She has also shared the stage with international gospel artist VaShawn Mitchell.

In 2018, Phewa released her EP Raising Jesus Flag. That same year, she released the song "Siyabonga." Her catalog also includes the songs "Siyanqoba Ngaye" and "Great Jesus." The EP earned her the Best Contemporary Song award at the 2018 Gospel Crown Music Awards.

Phewa’s work has been recognized beyond South Africa. In 2024, she received an award as African Inspirational Gospel Artist in Nigeria. The following year, she was named African Female Musician of the Year at the 2025 Ladies in Media Awards in Ghana.
