Peniel Tambama

Peniel Tambama is a Zimbabwean gospel vocalist and musician whose work has become part of contemporary worship music in his home country. He has collaborated extensively with gospel projects such as The Vine and Celestial Chorus, contributing his voice to hymns and worship songs often performed in Shona.

Tambama first gained attention as a student at the University of Zimbabwe after winning a singing competition in 2012. His catalog includes songs such as “Mufudzi (Hymn 108),” “Ndifanane naJesu (Hymn 131),” “Murapi Mukuru (Hymn 115),” “Naye,” and “He Will Carry You,” as well as collaborations like “Hamuna Nzvimbo yaJesu,” “Nanda Rinochenesa,” and “Tariro” with Annatoria. Through these recordings, Tambama has helped bring traditional hymns and original worship material to a wider audience.
