Mr. Del

Mr. Del (born Delmar H. Lawrence III, June 10, 1978) is an American Christian hip-hop artist, producer, and pastor based in Memphis, Tennessee. He was formerly associated with the Memphis-based rap group Three 6 Mafia before his conversion to Christianity in 2000. Following his conversion, he left secular music to focus on gospel hip-hop and ministry.

He is the founder and president of the independent record label Dedicated Music Group (DMG) and serves as the pastor of the City of Refuge Church in Memphis. He is often referred to as the "Hope Dealer" in his ministry and music and has authored a book series titled Soul Ties, which focuses on relational healing and spiritual growth.

Over his recording career, Mr. Del released albums including Church Age (2003), The Future (2005), Hope Dealer (2007), Thrilla (2009), Faith Walka (2013), Hope Dealer 2 (2014), Love Noize (2016), and Black (2018). The Future debuted at No. 15 on Billboard's Gospel Chart, and Hope Dealer peaked at No. 47. Thrilla debuted at No. 2 on the Christian R&B/Hip Hop Chart and earned a GMA Dove Award nomination for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year in 2010. In 2005, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album for his feature on "Shake 'Em Off."

In 2021, reports indicated he was concluding his career as a recording artist after two decades of music and ministry.
