MŌRIAH

MŌRIAH (born Moriah Castillo Peters) is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, actress, and producer who began her career in contemporary Christian music, previously recording under the name Moriah Peters. She was born in Pomona, California, and raised in Chino and Ontario, California. She signed with SONY/Provident in Nashville, Tennessee.

She is married to Joel Smallbone, a member of the duo for KING & COUNTRY. Her music releases include the albums I Choose Jesus and BRAVE, as well as the EPs Live from the Quarry and Curtain Call. Her album BRAVE reached number 9 on Billboard's CCM Charts. Among her songs are "Hasta Mañana" and "Known, Seen, Loved."

MŌRIAH has also built a presence in film and television. She portrayed the character Bathsheba in the television series The Chosen (2023). Her film credits include the starring role in Because of Gracia (2017) and a role in the film Journey to Bethlehem (2023). Additionally, she co-hosted the podcast BECOMING:us on K-LOVE/AccessMore.
