Mkhululi Bhebhe

Mkhululi Bhebhe is a contemporary gospel music vocalist from Zimbabwe. He was born on 5 April 1984 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. His early career included a notable appearance on the 2008 Idols Southern and Eastern Africa competition, where he finished in the top six.

In 2010, Bhebhe joined the South African gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration, a move that brought his voice to a wider audience. During his time with the group, he performed traditional Zimbabwean gospel songs, including “Tambira Jehovah” and “Ichokwadi.” These songs helped establish his reputation within the gospel music community.

After leaving the Joyous Celebration choir, Bhebhe pursued a solo career. In December 2017, he recorded a live solo CD and DVD in South Africa. His solo catalog includes songs such as “Namata,” “Wasara-Wasara,” “Hakuna Zvinorema,” “Zvamaronga,” “Kuyangimangaza,” and “Ndiyeyu Jesu Medley.” His work has been recognized in his home country, as he received the Zim Achievers Awards Personality of the Year in 2014 and the Music Artist of the Year award in 2015.
