About Misha Goetz
Misha Goetz is a worship leader and recording artist whose music blends Messianic and Christian worship traditions. The daughter of Messianic worship artist Marty Goetz and his wife, Jennifer, she grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She began playing piano at age five and composed her first song at age eight. Goetz later attended Azusa Pacific University, where she earned a degree in Business Administration.
Goetz identifies as a Messianic Jew and has said her aim is to unite Christians and Jews in worship. She released her debut full-length album, Weight of Glory, in 2013. The album features the song “Aaronic Benediction” with her father, Marty Goetz. Her second solo album, A Time for Everything, followed in 2022. Goetz has also released several singles, including “Shema (A Prayer for Israel)” (2018), “Emmanuel (Our God With Us)” (2020), “God Almighty Reigns” featuring Joshua Aaron (2021), “And Then Suddenly” (2024), and “Victory Song,” which appears on the soundtrack for the animated feature film DAVID.
Goetz co-wrote original music for DAVID, produced by Angel Studios. The film’s soundtrack charted in Billboard’s Top 10 Christian/Gospel Albums for three weeks. She currently resides outside of Washington, D.C., with her husband and children.
