Mike Manuel

Mike Manuel is a Christian country music singer and songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in Houston, Texas, he grew up in a musical family and began his career performing with his brothers as the Manuel Family Band. The group saw early success when three of their radio singles reached the top 40 on the Singing News chart.

In 1996, Manuel relocated to Nashville to pursue a full-time solo career. His music blends traditional country sounds with faith-based, inspirational lyrics. He also serves as a board member of the International Country Gospel Music Association.

Manuel’s solo catalog includes albums such as Pieces of My Heart, Country Side of the Cross, Songs About Life, Buildin’ a Better Country, and New Vintage. Among his recorded songs are “Phone In Heaven,” “Mama and Jesus,” and “Back in the Country Again.”

His contributions to Christian country music have earned several industry honors. He was named Country Gospel Music Association National Entertainer of the Year in 1998 and 1999, and National Songwriter of the Year in 1998. The Christian Country Music Association awarded him Male Vocalist of the Year in 1999, and he received the Inspirational Country Music Songwriter of the Year award in 2006.
