About Michael Ketterer

Michael Ketterer is a singer-songwriter, worship leader, and pediatric mental health nurse who has served as a member of the Christian worship collective Influence Music. He first became known as a member of the worship collective United Pursuit, with whom he recorded the album The Wild Inside and the singles “Pressing On” and “Wild One.” He later released a solo album titled Love/War/Solar System through United Pursuit Records.

Ketterer gained national attention as a contestant on Season 13 of America’s Got Talent, where he finished in fifth place. Beyond his music career, he works as a pediatric mental health nurse, and he and his wife, Ivey, have six children, five of whom were adopted from foster care. The couple moved from Knoxville, Tennessee, to Southern California in 2014.

He is associated with Influence Church in Anaheim, California, and appears on the Influence Music album Touching Heaven, which features the song “Spirit Lead Me.” His music and public platform have reflected his dual vocations of worship ministry and healthcare, as well as his family’s commitment to foster care adoption.
