Mia Fields

Mia Fields, born Mia Leanne Cherie Fieldes on January 29, 1983, in Australia, is a songwriter and worship leader in Christian music. She spent ten years serving at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, before relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, around 2013. She is a member of The Belonging Co church in Nashville.

Fields released the album “There’s a Reason” in 2009 and the EP “Ashes” in 2015. Her songwriting credits include “He Knows My Name,” “Chainbreaker,” “First,” “Peace Be Still,” “Christ Is Risen,” and “Yes I Will.” She has collaborated as a songwriter with numerous Christian artists, including Lauren Daigle, Michael W. Smith, and For King & Country. Her work has earned her a Grammy Award nomination for songwriting.

In addition to her Grammy nomination, Fields co-wrote “Something Has To Break (Live),” which won Gospel Worship Recorded Song of The Year at the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards. Her career reflects a steady commitment to creating worship music for the church and supporting the work of other Christian artists through songwriting.
