Melissa Brady

Melissa Brady is a Southern Gospel singer and songwriter who performs as part of the husband-and-wife Christian music duo Jim & Melissa Brady. She began her musical career traveling in evangelistic ministry with her family as a child. For ten years, she was a member of the gospel group The Shulers, and she has also performed on Gaither Homecoming concert videos.

Brady has built a substantial songwriting portfolio, with her songs recorded by artists including the Booth Brothers and the Whisnants. Among the songs in her catalog are “I See Grace,” “The Little Things,” “I Have an Anchor,” “Great God Of My Joy,” and “I Know Him Better Now.” She and her husband have released several albums together, including Ever Faithful, Hope Keeps Writing The Song, and A Musical Tribute to a Hero.

Beyond performing and writing, Brady hosts a women’s event called “Something Beautiful” and has served as a teacher at the Steve Hurst School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work with Jim has been recognized by fans at the Singing News Fan Awards, where the duo was named “Favorite Duet” in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
