About Marshall Hall
Marshall Hall was born on December 30, 1970, in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in a musical home where his mother played piano for the church and his father sang. He committed his life to the Christian faith at age fourteen and later attended Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana.
Hall began his professional career as a session vocalist, working on projects for national clients and recording artists before joining the Gaither Vocal Band as a baritone in 2004. During his tenure with the group, he contributed to albums such as Give It Away, Lovin’ Life, and Christmas Gaither Vocal Band Style, and earned a Grammy Award in 2009 along with several GMA Dove Awards. He also released his own solo projects during this period, including Wisdom of Fools (2004) and Boundless (2005).
Hall left the Gaither Vocal Band in 2009 to focus on solo work and ministry. He has since held worship leadership roles at Shadow Mountain Community Church and Willow Creek Community Church, and in 2019 he became the worship pastor at Northland Church in Longwood, Florida. His later solo releases include Brighter One (2011) and Christmas (2015).
