Mabongi

Mabongi (born Mabongi Mabaso) is a South African gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She was born and raised in Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge, and began singing at a young age. She holds a music degree and is based in Pretoria. Her musical style combines traditional gospel with contemporary Christian music.

Mabongi has collaborated with fellow gospel artists including Benjamin Dube and Ntokozo Mbambo. She is married to Jerrard Peace Fero, who also serves as a songwriter and producer in her music ministry.

In 2023, she released the album Sound of Redemption and the EP Undeserving. Her catalog includes songs such as “Well Done,” “Hi Wena Ntsena,” “Tshemba Ra Mina,” “Kinsman Redeemer,” “Mukutsuri,” and “Tshama.”
