Lydia Shaw

Lydia Shaw is a worship leader, keys player, and former Children’s Worship Pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California. Before moving to Redding in 2008, she spent ten years with the International House of Prayer (IHOP). She completed three years of training at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) and later taught music at Bethel Christian Elementary School for seven years.

In her worship ministry at Bethel, Shaw served as the Children’s Worship Pastor and contributed to Bethel Music recordings including “Silent Night,” “To Worship You I Live,” and “Good Good Father.” She also released the single “I Am Created” and performed on the Women Who Worship live tracks “Great Mystery (Live)” and “It Is Written (Live).”

Outside of her church-based work, Shaw is a performer, writer, and vocal coach based in London. She co-wrote the book and lyrics for the audio musical Hatched! with composer Ed Court, and the project was released as Hatched! A New Musical (Original Cast Recording). Hatched! was named a finalist for the Stiles & Drewe Prize in 2024.

Shaw holds a BA (Hons) in English and Drama from Royal Holloway, University of London, and trained at the London School of Musical Theatre. Her career reflects a blend of dedicated worship leadership in the Bethel community and creative work in musical theatre.
