About Local Sound
Local Sound is a Nashville-based worship band that grew out of the college and young adult ministry MyLocal615. The group was founded and is led by Jared Runion. The band describes themselves as “culture creators,” with a mission to support the local church through their music.
Their sound is high-energy and innovative, focused on spreading the Gospel. In 2019, Local Sound signed with Integrity Music. Prior to releasing their debut full-length album, the band released several EPs, including Sunday School, To The King, and The Free World, Vol. 1, as well as singles such as “Nobody,” “On Christ,” “How I Love You,” and “Shadow of Your Wings.”
In 2022, Local Sound released their debut full-length album, This Is My Local. The group has toured with artists Mosaic MSC, Cody Carnes, and Mack Brock. Members have described their work as a way to unite the Word of God with music that reaches the world.
