Lloyd Nicks is a St. Louis-based Christian and gospel music artist, songwriter, and worship leader who blends gospel, contemporary worship, and pop music. Born in East St. Louis and raised in Cahokia, Illinois, Nicks came to faith in Jesus at age 14. He earned an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from Greenville University, grounding his musical foundation in academic study.

Nicks has built a career both as a solo artist and as a recognized songwriter. He co-wrote CeCe Winans’ song "That’s My King," a track that earned him a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. The same song also brought him a Billboard Music Award for Top Gospel Song and a BMI Gospel Trailblazers Award. In 2025, Nicks signed a recording contract with Curb Records, marking a new chapter in his career.
