Lion & Bear

Lion & Bear is a musical duo from Southern California, made up of brothers-in-law Andrew Enos and Michael Landingham. The duo’s name is drawn from the biblical account of David and Goliath. Both members have served as church staff or worship leaders, and their music grows out of that ministry context.

The group was formed as a response to personal tragedy, including the loss of children, and was created as a way to process grief while sharing themes of healing and lament. Their songs carry messages of faith, hope, and comfort in the midst of suffering. In 2020, Lion & Bear signed with BEC Recordings.

They released a self-titled EP, Lion & Bear, in 2020. That same year saw the singles “Held By Your Love” and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel (I Will Rejoice).” Their full-length album Hollows followed in 2021, along with the single “The Reason.” In 2025, the duo released the single “Fighting Back Tears.”
