About Lindell Cooley

Lindell Cooley was born on February 3, 1963, in Red Bay, Alabama, and grew up as the only child of a minister. He began learning musical instruments at age five, laying the foundation for a career that would blend music and ministry.

Cooley is best known for his decade-long service as the music minister for the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida, from 1995 to 2004. This period produced several live recordings, including Revival at Brownsville (1996), Open Up the Sky (2001), and later The Brownsville Revival - Songs and Stories (2010). His musical style is described as contemporary worship music. Beyond his revival work, he has also worked as a studio musician and independent producer.

In 2004, Cooley established Grace Church: Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee, where he serves as pastor. He is also the founder and president of Music Missions International (MMI), an organization through which he continues to produce worship resources. His later releases include Encounter Worship, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (2008), Freedom (2009), Encounter Worship Three (Live) (2010), and More of Your Glory (2024).
