Lee Vasi

Lee Vasi is an Atlanta-based singer-songwriter known for her Christian R&B sound, bringing a blend of faith and soul to contemporary gospel music. Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, she is of Puerto Rican-Dominican and African American heritage, and her artistry often incorporates bilingual (Spanglish) lyrics.

Her journey into performance began early: she performed as Young Nala in the Broadway production of The Lion King at age 10. In 2018, she was a contestant on the 16th season of American Idol, reaching the Top 50. These early experiences paved the way for a focused career in Christian music, and she signed with Capitol CMG/Tamla.

Lee Vasi released the single "My Bad" in 2023, followed by "Teach Me" in 2024—the latter reaching #2 on the Billboard Gospel Digital Song Sales chart and #21 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. That same year, she released her EP From Me, To God. In 2025, she released the album Love Me to Life and the song "He Is." Her 2026 single "Worthy" continued her catalog of faith-centered music.
