Lawrence Oyor

Lawrence Oyor is a Nigerian gospel music minister, worship leader, and pastor. He was born Lawrence Gomba Oyor on June 16, 1991, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and was raised in a Christian family by his parents, Rev. Gomba Fortune and Rev. Patience Oyor. He earned a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Ibadan in 2013 and later attended the Nigerian Law School before transitioning into full-time ministry.

Oyor co-founded the Davidic Minstrels movement alongside his twin brother, Godswill Oyor, and is the founder of the Catalyst Network International. He also serves as the president and senior pastor of the Davidic Generation Church. In October 2020, he married Darasimi Mike Bamiloye.

His recorded songs include “Bowl of Fire,” “No Turning Back II,” “My Daddy, My Daddy,” “Burn the World,” “Heaven,” “The Train,” “911,” and “Fall in Love.” Oyor’s music is part of the contemporary African gospel worship scene, often characterized by prophetic chants and congregational engagement.
