About Lauren Talley
Lauren Talley is a Southern Gospel singer and solo artist who grew up in a musical family and began singing at age two. A native of Morristown, Tennessee, she first rose to prominence as a member of the family gospel group The Talleys, which formed in 1996. The group earned a 2015 Dove Award for the song “Hidden Heroes.”
Since stepping into her own solo career, Talley has recorded seven solo albums. Her 2017 release, The Gospel, reached the number one position on Billboard’s Top Christian Inspirational chart. She followed with Glorious God: Songs of Worship and Wonder (2019) and Loudest Praise: Hymns Of Mercy, Love and Grace (2019). Her single “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow” and the 2022 single “Shut Him Up” are also part of her catalog.
Talley’s work extends beyond recording. In 2014, she received an honorary doctorate degree in Worship Arts from John Wesley University. She is also an author, having written the devotional book Songs In The Night. She frequently appears on the Gaither Homecoming video series and concert tours. In addition to her performing career, she works as a studio background singer, producer, and performance coach.
