KJ Scriven

KJ Scriven is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader based in the United States. A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, he has built a career at the intersection of contemporary gospel and worship music, often featuring acoustic guitar in his sound. He has served as a Worship Director at Transformation Church and is also a pastor involved in church planting.

Scriven is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter whose credits include collaborations with Maverick City Music, Travis Greene, Tye Tribbett, and Koryn Hawthorne. He contributed to Tye Tribbett’s album Greater Than, which won a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. Scriven was also nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards for “Man Of Your Word,” on which he was a featured artist.

His recorded work includes the EP The Introduction (2010) and the project The Acoustic Experiment (2011). Later singles include “Help Me Believe” (2019), “HOLY GHOST” (2022), and “Better” with Cross Worship (2024). Through his songwriting and ministry, Scriven has remained committed to integrating faith and music in local church settings.
