Kgotso

Kgotso Makgalema, known professionally as Kgotso, is a South African gospel singer and worship leader. He was born in Sebokeng in the Vaal Triangle and first gained national recognition in 2008 after appearing on the gospel talent show “I Want to Sing Gospel.”

He is a former member of the celebrated gospel group Joyous Celebration and is widely recognized as an anchor artist for the gospel ensemble Spirit of Praise. His recordings with the group include songs such as “O Mhao” (Spirit of Praise 4), “Ejwale” (Spirit of Praise 3), and “Hakebatle Le Mang” (Spirit of Praise 4).

In addition to his ensemble work, Kgotso has built a solo gospel career with songs like “Messiah” (Live), “Mahlo Abona” (Live), “Ndikhokhele Bawo,” “Tsohle ka Modimo,” and “He Lifted Me Up” (Live). Beyond music, he has pursued theological studies and is identified as an apostle by calling, reflecting his grounding in ministry.
