Keyondra Lockett

Keyondra Lockett is a gospel singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, she began her career as a member of the gospel group Zie’l, with whom she earned two Stellar Award nominations. Over the years, she has shared the stage with acclaimed gospel artists including Yolanda Adams, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Kirk Franklin.

As a songwriter, Lockett co-wrote the song “Make Me Better” for Kierra Sheard’s LED EP and co-wrote “State of Emergency” for Zie’l. She has also built a notable solo recording catalog, releasing the EP Bring To Me and singles such as “Try” and “Trouble Won’t Last.” Her album releases include The Heal, The Heal Reloaded: The Journey Continues, and Cornerstone, as well as the song “Liar.” Lockett is a two-time Billboard top 15 charting artist.

Beyond music, Lockett has pursued entrepreneurial ventures. In 2016, she became the first gospel artist to sign a toy doll deal with the Kenya® Doll Brand. She is also a co-founder of the athleisure clothing line Jolie Noire. In recognition of her community impact, she received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
