Katie Torwalt

Katie Torwalt (born Katelin Michelle Horn) is an American Christian worship leader and songwriter. She is best known as one half of the husband-and-wife duo Bryan & Katie Torwalt, a partnership that began when they met in 2006 at the Bethel School of Supernatural Worship in Redding, California. The couple married in 2009 and has since served together as worship pastors. They have been affiliated with the Jesus Culture Music label since 2010 and reside in Sacramento, California. Their music is characterized as Christian worship, focusing on themes of faith, healing, and the presence of God.

The Torwalts released their first album, Here on Earth, in 2011. It was followed by Kingdom Come in 2013, Champion in 2016, the Anticipation EP in 2019, and I’ve Got Good News in 2022. Their recorded catalog also includes songs such as “Holy Spirit,” “Miracle In The Works,” and “Clean Heart” (2024).

In 2016, the song “Holy Spirit,” which the Torwalts wrote, won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in a recording by Francesca Battistelli. The duo’s song “Miracle In The Works” later reached number one on the Air1 radio chart.
