About Kaden Slay
Kaden Slay is a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist who grew up in Mississippi as the son of a pastor. He began leading worship in his father’s church at the age of thirteen, grounding his musical life in the local congregation.
Slay later became a staff writer, teacher, and worship leader at the headquarters of People & Songs and The Emerging Sound in La Porte, Indiana. There he serves under the mentorship of Jennie Lee Riddle, developing his craft within a community focused on worship and songwriting.
He is married to fellow artist Melanie Tierce-Slay, and together they perform as the duo The Slays. The pair released a self-titled album, The Slays, in 2019.
As a solo artist, Slay released the album The Mercy of Jesus in 2018, which debuted at number two on the iTunes Christian/Gospel chart. His catalog includes songs such as “There Is a Lamb,” “One Thing I’ve Learned,” “He Is Right Here (He’s Big Enough),” “Heal Our Land,” “Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb,” and “Arms of My Beloved.”
