Joshua Rogers

Joshua Rogers is a contemporary gospel singer who rose to prominence as the winner of BET’s Sunday Best. He was born on March 22, 1994, in Greeleyville, South Carolina, and grew up singing and playing drums in an Apostolic church where his grandmother served as pastor.

In 2012, Rogers became the first male and youngest winner of the fifth season of BET’s Sunday Best. Following his win, he signed a recording contract with Music World Gospel. He released his debut EP, Well Done, in 2012, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.

His first full-length album of original music, Unconditional, was released in 2013 and debuted at number two on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. He later released the album Returning in 2018. His catalog also includes singles such as “So Good,” “Pour Your Oil,” and “Still Gon’ Trust.” Rogers has appeared as a guest vocalist on programs including BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel and TBN’s Praise the Lord.
