About Jim Brady Trio

The Jim Brady Trio is a Southern Gospel group formed in 2014 by Jim Brady, his wife Melissa Brady, and pianist Tim Parton. The group is based in the Hendersonville and Spring Hill area of Tennessee and is characterized by Southern Gospel harmonies with a focus on Christian ministry. Jim Brady previously spent over twelve years as a member of the Booth Brothers, and Melissa Brady performed earlier with her family group, The Shulers.

Jim Brady is also a songwriter who has written over one hundred songs recorded by various gospel artists. The trio’s catalog includes the album “A New Chapter,” the album “Promises,” and the live release “Live at Daywind Studios” on CD and DVD. Their songs include “Steppin’ Out in Faith,” “Homesick for Heaven,” “Good Lord Willing,” “The Greatest of All Miracles,” and “That Sounds Like Home to Me.” In 2015, “Steppin’ Out in Faith” was the most-played song at gospel radio for the year.

Jim Brady has received multiple Baritone of the Year awards. In 2019, the group transitioned from a trio to a duet known as Jim and Melissa Brady, continuing their work in Southern Gospel music and ministry.
