Jershika Maple

Jershika Maple is a worship leader, singer, songwriter, actor, and vocal coach whose music is rooted in gospel and soul. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and raised in a military family, beginning to sing in church choirs at a young age. She now resides in Killeen, Texas, and serves as a worship leader.

Her career reached a national stage when she became a Top 5 finalist on Season 21 of NBC’s The Voice as a member of Team Legend. One of her performances on the show, “God Only Knows,” reached #10 on the Billboard Top 100 Gospel Digital Sales Chart. Maple has also worked as a background singer for gospel artists including John P. Kee, Zacardi Cortez, and Amber Bullock, and has performed in stage plays in the Texas area.

Maple has released several recordings, including “Let God Take You Higher” (2019), “I Give” (2021), a cover of “Inseparable,” and the song “Deliver Me,” featuring Jershika Maple & The Promiseland Choir. She has stated that she is working on an album that will be “gospel entirely.”
