Jermaine Gordon

Jermaine Gordon is a Jamaican-born singer, songwriter, and worship leader. A native of Bull Bay, St. Andrew, he has been based in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, and is the son of Deacon Ira Gordon and Beatrice Gordon. Known as a “Passionate Psalmist” and a “Modern-day Hymn Writer,” Gordon has served as a Director of Music and music consultant in various churches for over twenty years.

Gordon’s songwriting includes the titles “You Are God,” “Lord I Surrender,” “If I Trust Your Hands,” “God is Good (Mungu Yu Mwema),” “Heal Our Land,” and “Thine is the Kingdom.” He also recorded the collaborative tracks “Shackles Are Broken” featuring Terri Johnson-McClean and “By Your Love (I’m Forgiven)” featuring Paul Hyman.

Beyond his music ministry, Gordon founded the “Mind Hygiene” movement, which seeks to integrate faith with mental and spiritual well-being. He is also an author who has published prayer journals, including the “POUR OUT IN ME” series. Working as a music consultant, coach, and therapist, Gordon focuses his efforts on initiatives for children and communities, blending his musical gifts with a broader commitment to holistic care.
