Jamie Kimmett

Jamie Kimmett is a Scottish singer-songwriter who transitioned from a secular pop music career to Christian music ministry after his conversion to Christianity. Born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, he is a self-taught guitarist who was influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and John Mayer. Kimmett attended the Ian Tomlin School of Music in Edinburgh, Scotland, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a music career, where he collaborated with industry figures including Steve Porcaro and Randy Jackson.

Following his conversion to Christianity, Kimmett turned down a major secular record deal to pursue a career in Christian music. He studied Bible exposition at the Cornhill Training Course in London, England. He is signed to Provident Label Group under Sony.

Kimmett’s single “Prize Worth Fighting For” reached number ten on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. His catalog also includes the singles “Since I Met You,” “Burdens,” “Love Your Neighbor,” “All of Me,” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.” He has toured with Christian artists including Casting Crowns, Zach Williams, Matt Maher, and For King & Country.
