About Jahdiel
Jahdiel was born Grace Jahdiel Okoduwa on November 11, 1986, in Ikoyi, Lagos State, Nigeria, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She began singing in her local church choir at age five and had learned to play the piano and keyboard by the time she was thirteen. Jahdiel professionally launched her music career in 2006.
Her debut album, Heritage, was released in 2008, and she received a nomination for "Most Promising Artist or Group" at the 2008 Kora Awards. She followed with the album Under Oath in 2010 and Majesty in 2015. Among the songs in her catalog are "Ebube Dike," "Oh God," "Ayaya," "My Light," and "Grace." In 2013, she earned a nomination at the Nigeria Gospel Music Awards.
Jahdiel is married to fellow gospel artist Emmanuel Benjamin, known as Eben. Together, they co-own the record label Hammer House Records. In 2017, she was listed in YNaija's "100 Most Influential People in Christian Ministry in Nigeria."
