Isaiah Templeton

Isaiah Templeton is a gospel artist, worship leader, and background vocalist known for his work in contemporary gospel music. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and raised primarily in Dayton, Ohio, he was brought up in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) tradition. Templeton later earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Wright State University.

Before launching his solo career, Templeton performed as a background singer for several prominent gospel artists, including Smokie Norful, Jonathan Nelson, and Travis Greene. He became the first artist signed to Smokie Norful’s label, TreMyles Music, marking a significant step in his own recording journey. He is also known by the nickname “Zeek.”

Templeton’s debut EP/album, Roll in the Dirt, was released in 2014 and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. He followed with the album This Life in 2019, and also released the single “Everything Will Be Alright” in 2018. In addition to his recording career, Templeton serves as a worship leader at Elevation Church.
