Ighiwiyisi Jacobs

Ighiwiyisi Jacobs is a Nigerian gospel artist and worship leader whose creative life spans music, visual art, and law. She is the daughter of Erhabor Emokpae, a foundational figure in the Nigerian art world, and carries forward a legacy of artistic expression in her own multifaceted career.

Jacobs studied law at the University of Lagos, graduating in 2006. Alongside her legal training, she developed a professional practice as a visual artist, eventually becoming the creative director of Hermosa Boda, a firm dedicated to design and production. Her work as an artist and entrepreneur runs parallel to her calling in gospel music.

As a recording artist, Jacobs has contributed to contemporary Nigerian worship music. She appears as a featured artist with TY Bello on the song “Because You Are God.” Her solo catalog includes the track “Halleluyah,” and she is also a featured artist on “Jesus Jesus Jesus.” She released an album titled For Jesus, which collects her worship offerings.
