Heritage Kids

Heritage Kids is a children’s music group that serves as a spinoff or youth-oriented extension of the Heritage Singers. The group specializes in Christian, gospel, and Sunday school-style music for children, drawing on traditional hymns and classic children’s songs to create a repertoire designed for young listeners.

The group’s recorded history reaches back to at least the late 1980s, with the album Gospel Train released in 1988. That effort was followed by a notable 1997 release, All Are Precious in His Sight. Over the years, Heritage Kids built a catalog of familiar songs often sung in church and Sunday school settings, including “Father Abraham,” “The B-I-B-L-E,” “I’m in the Lord’s Army,” “Down in My Heart,” “The Wise Man Built His House,” and “Butterfly Song.”

Through these recordings, Heritage Kids carried forward the Heritage Singers’ tradition of accessible Christian music, tailored specifically for children and families. The group’s work remains a part of the larger Heritage Singers legacy, offering young audiences a musical introduction to faith-filled songs.
