About Hannah Kerr
Hannah Kerr is a contemporary Christian musician, songwriter, and worship leader. She was born Hannah Elizabeth Kerr on January 6, 1997, in Buffalo, New York, and relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, before starting high school. She earned a degree in Christian Leadership from Belmont University. Kerr began her music career in 2015 with the release of the EP I Stand Here. She was the first artist signed to M2T (Made to Thrive) Records, a Christian imprint of Black River Entertainment. During this time, she also served as a worship leader at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee.
In 2016, she released the album Overflow, followed by the single "Your Love Defends Me." Kerr released the Christmas project Christmas Eve in Bethlehem in 2018, and later issued the singles "Split the Sea" and "Warrior." At the 2018 ASCAP Christian Music Awards, she received a "Most Played Song Award" for co-writing "Your Love Defends Me."
Kerr has toured with Christian acts including Casting Crowns, Matt Maher, for KING & COUNTRY, and Big Daddy Weave. She married musician Jason Earley in March 2020. In 2024, she released the album As I Am, along with the single "Changed."
