Francesca LaRosa

Francesca LaRosa is a Catholic composer, singer-songwriter, and speaker based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She holds a degree in music education from Ball State University and served as the music director of her home parish, St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Indianapolis, for four years. Her work centers on setting Responsorial Psalm texts and prayers to music for use in Catholic liturgy, and she creates music in both English and Spanish.

LaRosa launched an instrumental piano channel titled “Keys of Peace,” which is featured on the Hallow prayer app. She also founded the “Cantor Academy,” an online course designed to provide vocal and spiritual training for cantors. She is an approved composer for both the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL).

In 2025, LaRosa won a Catholic Music Award for “Best Newcomer Singer.” She has collaborated with Sarah Hart on the songs “My Soul Proclaims” and “Angel of God.” Her catalog of liturgical pieces includes “The Beatitudes” and several Psalm settings such as “Psalm 131 – In You, Lord, I Have Found My Peace,” “Psalm 24 – Who Is This King of Glory?,” “Psalm 50 – To the Upright I Will Show,” “Psalm 147 – Praise the Lord, Jerusalem,” and “Psalm 66 – Let All the Earth Cry Out to God.”
