Forfeit Thee Untrue

Forfeit Thee Untrue is a Christian metal band from South Africa that formed in 2006 in Benoni, Gauteng. The group was co-founded by drummer Craig Palmer and rhythm guitarist Sean Towsen. Their music blends elements of metalcore, groove metal, and hard rock, with lyrics that often address themes of faith, spiritual struggle, and overcoming personal adversity.

The band released music through record labels including Sanctus Gladius Records and Rottweiler Records. Their early work includes the EP Blood Soaked Splinter in 2013, followed by the full-length album Creationem Jesus Lacrimam in 2016. In 2019, they issued the single "Halo Crippled."

Following a period of inactivity and changes in membership, the band underwent a rebuilding phase. In 2018, Kenny Smith joined as frontman. Forfeit Thee Untrue returned to releasing new music in 2024 with the EP Gather the Broken, along with the singles "Shine and Shatter" and "It's Colder Now." The band continues to be recognized as a Christian metal act within the South African music scene.
