Faith Maelys

Faith Maelys, also known as Faith Maelys Mendy, is a London-based gospel singer, songwriter, and Reverend Minister. She was born to African parents in a Paris suburb, and her ministry and music have been shaped by a cross-cultural background that blends European and African influences.

Beyond her music, Faith Maelys has worked as a television and radio presenter. She has also served as a communications volunteer for the National Church Leaders Forum (NCLF), contributing to church leadership and community outreach in the United Kingdom.

Her recorded catalog includes the song “Yahweh,” released in 2018, and a rendition of the Christmas hymn “Mary Did You Know,” released in 2017. Both tracks reflect her focus on worship and gospel themes.

In 2019, Faith Maelys was nominated for “Discovery Artiste of Excellence” at the Africa Gospel Music & Media Awards (AGMMA), recognizing her emerging presence in the gospel music scene.
