About Erica Campbell

Erica Campbell is a gospel singer, songwriter, and one half of the duo Mary Mary. Born Erica Monique Atkins on April 29, 1973, in Inglewood, California, she began her professional music career in 1998 alongside her sister Tina Campbell as Mary Mary, a duo known for urban contemporary gospel and Christian R&B. Before forming the group, Campbell appeared in films including Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993) and The Fighting Temptations (2003).

Campbell launched her solo career with the album Help in 2014, which won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album at the 57th Grammy Awards. She followed with the album Help 2.0 in 2015, featuring the single “I Luh God.” In 2023 she released the album I Love You, and in 2024 she contributed to the collaborative track “One Hallelujah,” which won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song. As a member of Mary Mary, Campbell shares in the duo’s numerous accolades, including the ASCAP Golden Note Award in 2011.

Since 2016, Campbell has hosted the syndicated radio show Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell. Alongside her husband, producer Warryn Campbell, she serves as a pastor at the California Worship Center in San Fernando, California. Through her music, radio work, and ministry, Campbell continues to be active in gospel music and Christian outreach.
