About Elle Limebear

Elle Limebear is a British worship leader, songwriter, and artist based in Brighton, UK. She serves as a youth pastor and worship leader at her local church, a role that shapes both her ministry and her music. Growing up in a charismatic tradition, she was raised in a musically rich faith environment as the daughter of Martin Smith, the former frontman of the pioneering Christian band Delirious?. Her own solo career began in 2018, blending personal devotion with an outward-facing sound intended to connect with believers and those outside the church.

In 2020, Limebear released her debut album, Lost in Wonder. The record established her as a songwriter whose lyrics center on her core relationship with God. Her catalog includes songs such as “Maker of the Moon,” “Holding Me Still,” “Rest On Us,” and “Fly.” She has also collaborated with other artists: “Over” is a collaboration with Nigerian gospel artist Limoblaze, and “Our Eyes Are on You” was created alongside her father, Martin Smith.

In March 2025, Limebear released her second album, Welcome to the Bloodline. The title reflects a theme of spiritual family and identity that runs through her work. She is married to her husband, Tom, and they have two children.
