Dr. Thompson and his wife are the Founding Pastors of Crown House Chapel, a non-denominational church with locations in Alexandria, Virginia and Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is also the founder of Kofi Thompson Ministries International and Kofi Thompson TV an anointed YouTube channel with twiceweekly broadcast programming called “The Holy Spirit Hour”
He received his Doctorate of Divinity from Bethel Worldwide Bible College and Seminary.
On July 9, 2017 at Crown House Chapel in Alexandria, Virginia, Dr. Thompson was officially ordained as Apostle and his wife was ordained as a Pastor.
God called Apostle Kofi to raise up leaders (kings) for Him, who will be sent to represent God on the seven gates of influence in society. These kings are sent to the secular world, to the market circles to bring the Kingdom of God into those realms of influence.
He is an anointed, praise and worship leader and a world renowned recording artist whose Praise & Worship Ministry, “Kofi Thompson & Crown of Glory”, through the power of the Holy Spirit, haverecorded and released several CD’s that include well known songs such as “Jehovah You are the Most High God”. Dr. Kofi Thompson has won many awards over the years.
In early 2017, the Lord spoke to Dr. Thompson about establishing another branch of Crown House Chapel and about establishing and hosting an annual Praise & Worship Summit. In obedience and as instructed by the Holy Spirit, Dr. Thompson and his wife relocated to Tennessee to establish Crown House Chapel in Chattanooga and also in fulfillment of the mandate they received from God, they are hosting the first annual “International Gathering of Kings Praise and Worship Summit, (IGOK)”.
