Kofi Thompson

Kofi Thompson is a gospel recording artist, composer, arranger, and songwriter, as well as a minister of the gospel who serves as a pastor. Born in Ghana, he is now based in the United States, where he leads the musical group Kofi & Crown of Glory.

Thompson’s musical style blends African cultural rhythms with contemporary gospel and praise and worship music. He was trained as a horn player, and his leadership extends beyond performance: he has served as a music minister at True Light Worship Center in Clinton, Maryland, and is the founder of a ministry and an online university.

Thompson’s recorded catalog includes the albums Worship of the Saints and Revival, along with songs such as “Africaribb Medley (Most High God),” “Ancient of Days,” “Arise Within Me,” “Jesus Our Savior,” “Your Praise,” and “All Is Mine.”
