About Dorinda Clark Cole

Dorinda Grace Clark-Cole is a gospel singer, evangelist, and a member of the renowned vocal group The Clark Sisters. Born on October 19, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, she is the daughter of the late choral director Dr. Mattie Moss Clark.

As a solo artist, Clark-Cole released her self-titled debut album, Dorinda Clark-Cole, in 2002, followed by The Rose of Gospel in 2005, Take It Back in 2008, I Survived in 2011, and Living It in 2015. Her catalog includes the song "I'm Coming Out" and the 2023 single "Great and Mighty." She has also hosted programs on television and radio, including The Dorinda Show on the TCT Network and the radio show Serving Up Soul.

In addition to her music career, Clark-Cole is a licensed National Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) and serves as the International Elect Lady of the International Department of Evangelism for COGIC. She received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Mt. Carmel Theological Seminary in 2004.

As a member of The Clark Sisters, she has earned two Grammy Awards. Her solo work has garnered six Stellar Gospel Music Awards and a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award. In 2024, she received the BMI Trailblazer of Gospel Music Award.
