Denzel Prempeh

Denzel Prempeh (born April 17, 1984) is a Ghanaian gospel musician, songwriter, and ordained pastor who previously went by the name Denzel Kwabena Owusu-Ansah Agyeman-Prempeh. In 2006, he joined the Love Project Choir under the leadership of Danny Nettey. He founded the Christian music ministry HeartBeatMusic in 2010 and has served as a reverend minister at Destiny Chapel in Adenta, Accra.

Prempeh is the visionary behind the annual worship concert series “Touching God’s Heart.” His musical style is often described as a blend of contemporary, traditional, and urban gospel. His recorded catalog includes the live albums Tent Experience, A Sound from Heaven, and Deeper Touch, as well as singles such as “Yes You Are the Lord,” “MeniObiaa,” and “Back to Eden.” He has also released the EPs “We Bow” and “Shekere Praise.”

Beyond music, Prempeh established the Heartbeat Foundation in 2017 to support families of individuals with cerebral palsy. In 2017, his “Touching God’s Heart” (TGH) program received the Best Event Management System award at the SHINE Awards.
