Danny Plett grew up in a musical family in Canada as the son of a pastor and a classical singer with three siblings. He began to write his own songs at the age of twelve and, after years of concert activity, released his debut You're The One at the age of 21 . This was followed by tours through Canada, the USA and Europe with, among others, BJ Thomas and Silverwin .
From 1992 to 2013 Danny Plett lived intermittently in Germany and worked as a musician in the Janz team . In addition to own solo productions he directed for many years the youth program One Accord and released concept albums for children in turn learn singing Bible verses . With Brian Delamont and Heinrich Reisich he founded the band Danny Plett & Liberation (abbreviated to DP&L or DPL). In 2006 he appeared on the Europe-wide ProChrist in Munich .
As a songwriter he was engaged, among others, for Cae Gauntt , Beate Ling , Anja Lehmann and Yasmina Hunzinger . The latter were also discovered and promoted by himself during his choir work with One Accord . His last CD was released by Gerth Medien with the title "Learn more Bible verses by singing." He created this production with long-time colleague Hanjo Gäbler .
In 2013, Plett moved back to Canada with his family. He works there as a worship pastor
