Emanuel Lee Lambert Jr., known professionally as Da' T.R.U.T.H., is an American Christian rapper born December 15, 1977. He is a graduate of Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University). He began his music career in 2004 with the release of Moment of Truth.
Da' T.R.U.T.H. has released multiple albums over the years, including The Faith (2005), Open Book (2007), The Big Picture (2009), Love Hope War (2013), It's Complicated (2016), Bridges (2020), and Emanuel (2023). His album Emanuel was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2024.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a range of artists in Christian music, including Kirk Franklin, Trip Lee, Tye Tribbett, and Fred Hammond. His work has also been recognized by the Stellar Awards; he won the 2007 Stellar Award for Rap/Hip Hop Gospel CD of the Year for The Faith.
