About Covenant Worship
Covenant Worship is an American Christian worship band based in Dallas, Texas. The group formed at Covenant Church, an interdenominational congregation founded by pastors Mike and Kathy Hayes in 1976, and began as a musical entity in 2009. David and Nicole Binion served as the group’s senior worship pastors for several years, and its membership has included worship leaders Joshua Dufrene and Colin Edge. The band’s music blends modern and traditional Christian worship styles, and the group has maintained a long-standing partnership with Integrity Music to distribute its recordings.
The band’s first album, Heaven on Earth (2009), peaked on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Subsequent releases include Never Going Back (2010), Standing (2012), Kingdom (2014), Take Heart (2016), and Sand and Stars (2017). Songs from their catalog include “Can’t Stop Singing” and “More, Holy Spirit.” The group’s songwriting and ministry focus on connecting listeners with God and the message of Jesus.
Rooted in the multi-generational life of Covenant Church, Covenant Worship developed as a recording collective whose music was created with congregational use in mind.
