Collington

Collington is an indie rock, Christian rock, and worship project fronted by American singer-songwriter James Collington. The project originated in Providence, Rhode Island, and has been active since 2010. Collington began writing music in 2009 and produced his first demos the following year.

The debut album, We Swim In Seas That Never Rest, was released on January 1, 2016, and was produced by Aaron Gillespie. Collington has also collaborated with producers including Eric Owyoung and Jake Rye. The artist has shared the stage with acts such as Switchfoot, Johnnyswim, and Skillet.

In 2018, Collington released the EP In Between and the single “Here We Go.” While residing in Maine in 2020, he self-produced a series of singles, including “Against The Wall” and “Providence.” “Against The Wall” won the Battle of the Buzz at RadioU (WUFM).

Collington followed with the single “Fighting For Me” in 2022. In 2024, he released the singles “Talk About It” and “Do You Really Love Me,” and signed with NRT Music, a label services division of NewReleaseToday. The artist currently resides on the central coast of California with his wife and son.
